Ok this is gonna be a hard case to crack boys. Sonic, the Flash, Quicksilver, and road runner have searched across the globe and not a single one of those mofos could find who the fuck asked.
Found this through a web article. Damn this is amazing.. I stopped watching the Simpsons a long time ago as i was more interested in the future stuff they would tease. This is like a love letter to my soul and i thank you.
I was excited to learn about this comic today before being equally disappointed it hasn't updated in months! That's not a complaint, I just really hope you continue this project because it gave me a weird and fulfilling sense of something approaching closure after literal decades of seeing the Simpsons kids not being allowed to age a single day.
thank you (and everyone else coming from the polygon article) so much! a regular schedule is a bit tricky for me in my current situation unfortunately, but if you enjoy what i have so far, i have a tip jar here :^)
Just like everyone else, I had the Polygon article pop up in my newsfeed, and this comic is exactly what I never knew I needed in my life. I love the character designs. Hopefully all this newfound attention will be the encouragement needed to get some more regular updates -- looking forward to them!
Wow this comic is really goood and I can't wait to see more of it 🥺🤩 I love how you're interpreting the characters while also drawing back to callbacks
It's being really interesting so far, good job! I always wanted something beyond the comedy of the show, like seeing the characters grow not only in age but in a more mature way.
Omg this comic is amazing!!!! I’ve been watching The Simpsons since they first appeared on the Tracy Ullman Show, I’m a life long fan. This comic you created is exactly what I imagined the next phase in the Simpsons should be. I hope you continue to make these comics. By the way I just watched the season 33 finale and it was so cool seeing your art style on the screen.
You've got the character voices dead-on, your layout rocks, and these facial expressions are so dead-on that the comic makes sense even without dialogue. Radically done.
So its been over a year now......i'm pretty sure this comic is dead even though they got to make a simpsons opening. really sad bc i like what i have read so far
I just found this comic through a random online article and I gotta say, as a longtime and huge "Simpsons" fan, this had me cracking up and laughing out loud without a care as if I was watching the show's golden age episodes for the first time. Well done! The art is legitimately fantastic, too. I definitely look forward to seeing any more work on this project because this is just about darn perfect for me.
Loving the story so far. I only found this comic after I saw The Simpsons opening from S33E22 and recognized the art style, and decided to check out your work again. I’d seen your work before, but I never knew you did a comic. Hope you continue with it. Based on the work I’ve seen, I’m guessing you’re a Nelson/Lisa fan. I think most people are, including the writers. I personally hate it when I see her paired with Milhouse; just because he was the first one who liked her doesn’t mean he should ‘win’ (Please note the quotes, I’m not objectifying Lisa as a prize to be won). I don’t hate Milhouse, I just hate him being shipped with Lisa simply because he loved her first. She has better chemistry with Nelson.
I have a theory that Milhouse got Lisa pregnant intentionally (By poking holes in their protection) in the Christmas Future episode. In my fanfic brain, he and Nelson competed for her affections, and she chose Milhouse under the belief that she should be with the child’s father. She still drifts back to Nelson in the form of affairs, but refuses to leave Milhouse for Zia’s sake.
Here’s a link to the fanfic, as well as a Halloween one I wrote. They’re both Lisa/Nelson fanfics.
I never got around to writing the whole thing; only the one shots. Suffered massive writer’s block, not to mention personal problems. Lacking other artists who appreciate your work in your personal life does a number on your morale.
Bart always felt like the cool kid when I was growing up. He’s definitely got a surprise for Lisa though. It’s part of his charm that he acts like he doesn’t care when he really does.
